Join other knitters and crocheters on this one of a kind fiber arts retreat hosted by Alaskan Expressions. A close knit cozy 4 day 3 night retreat to Talkeetna, Alaska. March 10th-13th.
Take a trip on the Aurora Winter Train with the Alaska Railroad from Fairbanks to Talkeetna, Alaska! A beautiful winter scenery ride while stitching on your WIP along the way! (Meals available for purchase on the train. Not included with your ticket.)
3 night stay lodging at Talkeetna Inn with shared rooms. This retreat is high on personal connection with each others; we see that face to face connection is being lost more and more each day, so this is intentionally a major part of this trip. If you don't like connecting with others and like your privacy this is not the retreat for you. This is a cozy close knit retreat. One dinner meal provided each night. (Breakfast and lunch meals are not included with your ticket.)
Enjoy 2 full days in downtown Talkeetna for shopping, dining, and activities. There will be very little structure and schedule these 2 days. Guests can sleep in how ever long they would like and get breakfast and lunch when and where they choose. Evening dinner and knitting circle will be the only thing on the schedule for guests to keep. (Shopping, dining, and activities not included in ticket.)
Nightly meals will be delivered to Talkeetna Inn for you to enjoy quiet evenings eating, chatting and working on your WIPs during knitting circle time.
4 day itinerary:
Day 1 - Riding the train from Fairbanks to Talkeetna. Check in hotel, dinner, and knitting circle.
Day 2 - Eating, shopping, leisure time, dinner, knitting circle.
Day 3 - Eating outdoor activities, more shopping, leisure time, dinner and knitting circle.
Day 4 - Breakfast, check out, train ride back to Fairbanks.

- Round trip tickets with the Alaska Railroad from Fairbanks to Talkeetna, Alaska.
- 3 dinner meals March 10th-12th.
- 3 night stay at Talkeetna Inn. (Please note that these are shared rooms. If the retreat is fully booked 4 guests will need to share the 2 king sized beds. Again please note, if you don't like sharing and want lots of privacy this is not the retreat for you!)
- Premium knit or crochet Aurora shawl kit.
- Sweatshirt and tote bag with retreat logo.

- 2 payments can be made. 30% deposit at time of purchase and rest of balance is due Feb 1st 2027.
